Ranfit Metal & Alloys is a manufacturing and distributing firm that offers a wide range of Hastelloy Alloy B3 Fasteners, which is extremely resistant to corrosion in oxidizing and reducing environments. Hastelloy B3 Nuts is generally stiffer than the austenitic stainless steels, and therefore, more energy is required during cold forming. Since it is nickel-base, Hastelloy B3 Bolts resists high temperature attack by halides (e.g., chlorides and fluorides). Hastelloy B3 Stud Bolts resists the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld-heat affected zone. High molybdenum and chromium content make Hastelloy B3 Washers can resist the chloride corrosion, and tungsten makes this corrosion resistance better. Increased chromium with an optimized balance of molybdenum, tungsten and chromium yielded Hastelloy B3 Screws with superior corrosion resistance and thermal stability, in highly oxidizing environments.
Hastelloy B3 Fasteners has exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments. Hastelloy B3 Screw is considered moderate to difficult to machine, but can be machined using conventional methods. Hastelloy B3 Threaded Rods has better overall resistance and versatility than any other NiCrMo available. The recommended start temperature for hot forging of Hastelloy UNS N10675 Fasteners is 1232 Degree C (2250 Degree F) and the recommended finish temperature is 954 Degree C (1750 Degree F). Forging of Hastelloy WNR 2.4600 Fasteners should be performed in the range of 1750 Degree F – 2050 Degree F followed by rapid cooling.
